He is a great ambassador for the University of Texas and for sports and now the NBA off the court. And hes just a phenomenal player. I didnt miss a game when he was here, other than if we were out recruiting or something because hes just an absolute star. But you pull for him because hes so nice. He was very close to our football players. He was at all the sporting events.
And when people talk about wanting their young sons to grow up and be like somebody, Kevin Durant is one of those guys that is a star. Hes a superstar. Hell be among the best ever to play probably when he finishes. But he sure has a great perspective on who he is, what he is and the leadership role that he needs for young people.
