Those were the words of our No.1 b-baller, Kevin Durant, as he practiced for USA Basketball in Las Vegas recently. The man, four months off a bone graft surgery — he only played 27 games last season — was juking and jiving his way through no-contact drills and practices.
This is just before the start of the NBA season this fall. With KD coming back from injury one year before his free agency starts (vomit), the first season of new Thunder Head Coach Billy Donovan, the season before … we win a championship? Who knows? Regardless, Mr. “Not nice” guy might have a lot to contend with coming up, but he ain’t sweating anything but practice right now.
“I am looking forward to it,” Durant said. “I can’t wait. Boo me. … Talk about my family. I’m ready for it.”
