"My paintings and inspiration come from isolating parts of the human body and entwining them with flora," Trisha Thompson Adams said. "I think of each piece as a shrine towards that part of the body, to honor it in a way. I'm continually exploring the depths of life, death and rebirth through art much as how nature naturally happens. Many of my pieces are delicately painted through a feminine lens, softening how we typically view anatomical art."
