zany physical comedy and absurd dialogue with a sort of genuine nature that comes across as wholesomely funny.

“Baby Mama” offers the same brand of humor as Fey’s “30 Rock,” which always manages a great blend of topical issues, absurdity and brisk situational shenanigans. Given the current cinematic comedy crop, “Baby Mama” would have been a birth welcomed prematurely.
