Admittedly, “The Dark Knight” has set the bar high on all past and future screen adaptations in the world of Batman, The short-lived TV show “Birds of Prey” won’t clear that bar “? it won’t even get close “? but give it a chance anyway. It’s a shame “Birds” had its wings clipped after a mere 13 episodes while the similar “Smallville” lumbers on into its eighth season, because “Birds” is the better show.
