Let’s Fix This hosts its third election-night event Nov. 3 at Tower Theatre in Oklahoma City, featuring games, comedy and cheese-fueled dancing.

The event will combine election coverage with a cheese rave, a dance party fueled by artisanal cheeses. Organizers say the event is intended to give attendees a place to gather and process election results.

“With politics becoming more divisive, we’re offering this event as the antidote to high-stakes election anxiety,” said Andy Moore, CEO of Let’s Fix This. “Election night is always intense, so we wanted to take the edge off with music, dancing, friends and comfort food.”
This year’s event marks the third time Let’s Fix This has hosted an election-night gathering. The organization is introducing the cheese rave for the first time, adding a new element to its combination of election coverage and live entertainment.

The evening will follow a Tonight Show-style format, featuring Potts Family Foundation CEO and former state Senator AJ Griffin and entrepreneur and political creator Erika Lucas. The lineup also includes a magic performance by John Shack, and election trivia hosted by KOSU’s Graycen Wheeler. Musical performances will feature Kodey Prewitt and the Dirty Smelters, along with New York City-based DJ Daniela.

Local restaurants will serve pizza, queso, ice cream and a large charcuterie board. Organizers say additional food options will be available for attendees who cannot eat dairy. The show begins at 6 p.m., with the cheese rave scheduled for 8 – 10 p.m.

Doors open at 5 p.m. at Tower Theatre, 425 NW 23rd St. Tickets cost $35 and are available at letsfixthis.org/electionnight.
