The Oklahoma City Historic Preservation Commission revealed its 2026 preservation award winners during a May 5 ceremony at the Oklahoma City Zoo.
2026 award winners:
- Adaptive Reuse Award: Pachyderm Building, 2000 Remington Place
- Historic Districts Award: Paseo Duplex, 401 NW 27 St.
- New Construction Award: Villa Teresa, NW 12th St. and N Dewey Ave.
- Preservation Award: First National Center, 120 N Robinson Ave.
- Transformation Award: Walcourt Building, 141 NE 13 St.
Colcord Award for Leadership in Preservation:
- Marva Ellard
- Crown Heights-Edgemere Heights Neighborhood Association
The annual awards recognize projects and individuals working to preserve and revitalize Oklahoma City’s historic places. Oklahoma City currently has nine local historic districts, nine landmarks and more than 150 properties listed on the National Register.
