Various Views: Artists Eye the Landscape opens Thursday, February 5, 2026, at 1515 Lincoln Gallery, with an opening reception from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. The exhibition will be on view through Saturday, March 28, 2026, closing at 6:00 p.m. The gallery is located at 1515 North Lincoln Boulevard in Oklahoma City.

The exhibition explores the landscape genre through a range of two-dimensional works by contemporary gallery artists, presented alongside select secondary-market landscapes by artists from around the world. Abstract and representational approaches are shown in dialogue, offering multiple perspectives on place, memory, and environment.

Curated by 1515 Lincoln Gallery artist Roger Runge, the exhibition highlights the enduring relevance of landscape as both subject and metaphor. Spanning representational to abstract interpretations, the works demonstrate how artists continue to reinterpret natural and built environments through personal, cultural, and historical lenses.

In conjunction with the exhibition, the gallery will host a public Curator Talk with Roger Runge on Saturday, February 7, from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. This informal conversation will provide insight into the curatorial vision behind the exhibition and explore how contemporary and historical works intersect within the landscape tradition. Visitors will have the opportunity to engage more deeply with the ideas and influences shaping the exhibition.
