For those with “Martinis & Mistletoe” on their wish list, good news: That’s the name of a  special Christmas concert scheduled for 7 p.m. Saturday at FireLake Grand Casino, 777 Grand Casino in Shawnee.

Oklahoma City crooner Wade Tower will take center stage to give audience members a night of season music they won’t soon forget. Clad in a tuxedo and accompanied by a seven-piece band and a glamorous female vocalist in a sequined gown, Tower aims sure to dazzle.

This is the first year for “Martinis & Mistletoe,” but not FireLake’s first Christmas-themed concert.

“We thought we would try another type of Christmas show this year, and Wade Tower has performed for us before,” said events coordinator Michelle O’Bright. “He came up with this Christmas show and presented it to us, and we went with it.”

Tower will sing classics by such legendary crooners such as Bing Crosby, Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra and Michael Bublé.

He’ll bring the feeling of a ritzy cocktail party as he belts out tunes such as Crosby’s “White Christmas” and Elvis Presley’s “Blue Christmas,” along with some of his own songs, in a 90-minute set.

Tickets are $10. For more information, call 964-7777 or visit firelakegrand.com. —Carmen Forman
