Students at 52 schools in the Oklahoma City Public School district will now receive a free lunch regardless of income level.
Students whose family fall under certain income levels had previously qualified for free or reduced lunch through a federal program. As many as 90 percent of the district currently falls within that bracket. But the district announced today that a new federal program will allow every student at 52 schools across the district to no longer have to pay for lunch.
