We swear, sometimes these things just write themselves. Zachary Shaw, a 24-year-old from Tulsa, was arrested earlier this month in connection to an early-morning robbery, which allegedly occurred the same day the man was set to stand trial for “¦ you guessed it … previous robbery allegations.
According to the Tulsa World, Shaw was scheduled to appear in court Dec. 8 to face charges of allegedly robbing two brothers at a Tulsa motel in October 2007 and getting away with $1,200. Trial day brought another robbery accusation.
Tulsa Police Sgt. Dave Walker told the World that Shaw, armed with a gun, allegedly confronted someone he knew on Dec. 8, robbed him, then beat him with a Maglite flashlight when the person tried to run.
Shaw is also currently awaiting trial in two other cases related to drugs, according to the World.
