The former congressman and newly elected senator spent over $40,000 on faith-based consulting during his latest campaign, Chris Casteel, The Oklahomans Washington-based correspondent, reported last week.
In an email response to questions, Lankfords campaign manager did not respond to the question of what faith-based consulting actually entails, Casteel reported.
