study by the Intuit Consumer Spending Index — which collects credit and
debit purchasing data from its popular budget management tool, Mint.com
— found that Oklahomans spent, on average, a Whoppering $101 per month
on fast food in May. Checking in behind us were our neighbors in
Arkansas, who spent nearly $83 per month.

Granted, this is just one month’s data, and May was understandably a tough month for so many, but still. Put down those fries.
