Forbes magazine — that’s the one about the money, y’all — last month placed the Oklahoman on its annual list of the World’s 25 Highest-Paid Musicians. The country superstar sits pretty at No. 11, having made $50 million last year. Holy smokes, that’d buy a poo-load of “Beer for My Horses” DVDs!

While just shy of the Top 10, that spot is higher than anyone in his boot-kickin’ genre. Fellow CMT mainstays Brad Paisley and Tim McGraw sit lower at No. 15 and No. 21, respectively, but don’t feel too bad for them, as they can cry on the shoulders of their hot celebrity wives.

Forbes cited not only Keith’s best-selling music as the reason for his 10-gallon paychecks, but also his Wild Shot mezcal and chain of Toby Keith’s I Love This Bar & Grill restaurants. That mezcal is now sold in 22 states and, like premium tequilas, features a worm floating around in the bottom of each bottle.

U2 sits atop the list with $195 million; even divided four ways, that’s impressive. Bon Jovi is next with $125 million, followed by Elton John with $100 million. Nausea warning: Lil’ Justin Bieber is at No. 9 with $53 million. Kick his ass, Toby.
