With community spread of COVID-19 now in Oklahoma, David Chansolme, M.D., the Medical Director of Infection Prevention at INTEGRIS Health, is making a plea to the public to take the threat seriously.
Instead of reacting in fear and panic, he is encouraging Oklahomans to exercise caution and common sense by following these steps:
Stay at Home
Practice Social Distancing
Wash Your Hands
Do NOT go to the ER for Testing (unless you are experiencing severe symptoms)
Chansolme says we have a real opportunity to change the course of this disease. It is the collective and individual responsibility of each and every one of us to do what we can to keep this virus at bay.
