TIMM (for short) continues his head-ripping rampage, leaving Geiger-equipped Dr. Ted Nelson (Burr DeBenning) to follow the putrid piles of the grubby, brown-red pus he drips everywhere, not to mention the occasional ear or eyeball. Basically, TIMM looks like he is using a Little Caesars Hot-N-Ready as a face mask.
The movie is one of the few targets of Mystery Science Theater 3000 worth watching on its own. Too many times, even before MST3K existed, Ive sat through this marvelous marriage of kitsch and horror, but its never looked as good as it does on Shout! Factorys new Blu-ray. Director William Sachs (Galaxina) contributes a bitch and moan (his words) commentary to vent decades worth of frustration over disagreements with the money men, but really, he has nothing for which to apologize.
