While off-duty on Feb. 15, Peery was watching a basketball game with his father at a local establishment when he was asked to assist with the removal of three disorderly men. During the course of events, the three males allegedly attacked and severely beat Peery, causing permanent paralysis.
Alumni of Mount St. Mary High School, St. James Catholic Church and friends will host the event, which includes tastings from numerous restaurants, dancing and both a silent and live action.
