A long-vacant Art Deco corner in downtown Oklahoma City could soon become home to an ambitious new dining and social hub.
The Social Order has announced plans for Wildcat, an all-day restaurant, bar and gathering space slated to open in late 2027 at 434 W Main St., at the intersection of Main and Walker.
The project has been years in the making. CEO and founding partner Brian Bogert said he has had his eye on the building since 2015, drawn to its historic character and prominent location in the city’s core.
Wildcat is envisioned as a flexible, day-to-night concept that shifts with the rhythm of downtown. Plans call for a daytime café atmosphere with sidewalk seating, transitioning into a more intimate supper club and saloon setting in the evening.
The idea, according to the development team, is to echo the role early Oklahoma City gathering places once played — informal hubs where people met, exchanged news and built community.

The name itself is a nod to Oklahoma’s oil history. “Wildcatters” were independent drillers known for taking risks in search of new oil fields, a spirit the concept aims to channel in both design and atmosphere.
Design plans aim to preserve and highlight the building’s Art Deco architecture while incorporating Western and contemporary influences. The project team includes London-based architecture firm Allford Hall Monaghan Morris, Modus Construction as general contractor, Rohe Interiors handling interior design and Trackmeet leading branding.
If completed as planned, Wildcat will add another high-profile concept to a stretch of downtown that continues to see renewed investment and evolving nightlife.
The opening is currently projected for late 2027.
