“My art is an exaggerated, symbolic interpretation of real-life experiences, shown from the viewpoint of a focal character in each work. This offers glimpse into that character’s thoughts, strengths and vulnerabilities,” Marcus Eakers said. “Being in quarantine has inspired me to create a couple of works to document this surreal time in our lives. I produce art in a variety of different forms, but usually acrylic on wood and digital media these days.”
