Downtown transit riders should plan ahead this week as service disruptions are expected during the Festival of the Arts and the OKC Memorial Marathon, running April 21–26.
Bus routes, RAPID NW service and the OKC Streetcar may experience delays due to street closures across downtown.
What riders should know
Passengers using OKC bus and RAPID services are encouraged to check EMBARK service alerts in advance for detours and schedule changes. Regular fares apply to both services, while Zone 1a ADA paratransit remains free.
Customer service is available at 405-235-7433, with extended call center hours from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. (The downtown transit center window will be closed over the weekend.)
Streetcar hours (free service)
Streetcar operations will vary throughout the week:
- April 21–23: 6 a.m. to midnight
- April 24: 6 a.m. to 2 a.m.
- April 25: 7 a.m. to 2 a.m. (paused during races; expected to resume around 10:30 a.m.)
- April 26: 4 a.m. to 5:15 a.m. (paused during races; expected to resume around 1 p.m.), then running until 10 p.m.
Reopening times during marathon closures will be determined by Oklahoma City Police.
Parking tips
For marathon weekend, participants and spectators are encouraged to park in downtown garages or surface lots and take the streetcar to the старт area.
Festival-goers can find the closest parking at the Arts Garage, with the Sheridan-Walker Garage also within walking distance. Event parking is $10 per day, with reservations available through the Flowbird app.
