Keeping your vehicle clean not only protects your valuable vehicle investment, it also fosters a sense of pride and accomplishment, said Rich White, the organizations executive director. Its a task that takes very little money or effort, but has huge returns.
With April being National Car Care Month, the council recommends:
removing clutter inside, including the trunk, as extra weight decreases fuel efficiency;
washing tires, wheels, underside and fenders to eliminate road salt; and
paying attention to fenders and bumpers, which accumulate the most grime. Gazette staff
