home of the restaurant El Salvador, Pollo Regio is trying its hand at a
Midwest favorite: Tex-Mex. Nosh on shrimp dishes, grilled chicken (with
beans, rice and tortillas) and just about any taco you can dream up.
Don’t leave without trying the barbecued chicken! Wash the meal down
with a fruit-flavored drink.

you’ve a hankering for traditional Mexican fare on the south side,
Taqueria Juanes is now open for business. This family-owned taco palace
serves a variety of favorites like a mean beef birria, as well as spicy arbol salsa. Try the chicken nachos and taquitos, too.

buffet is pretty standard, but a bit spicier than other Indian buffets,
and with more Northern India-influenced dishes. The naan is made in a
clay pot, and its taste and texture alone are worth the trip. It’s not a
huge space, so it’s best for lunch or a small dinner with family and
friends.
