More than 45 artists will perform across more than 20 venues and two outdoor stages when the inaugural Bandwagon: Bricktown Music Fest takes over Bricktown from 1 to 10 p.m. Sept. 12.

The free, district-wide festival will feature country, hip-hop, Americana, rock, Latin, reggae, jazz, R&B and more, with attendees encouraged to move between stages and venues throughout the day.

The Main Stage at 1 N. Oklahoma Ave. will be headlined by Heath Wright, lead singer of Ricochet, backed by the Oklahoma Opry Band. Other performers include Souled Out, Jabee, Ken Pomeroy, Bossa Collective, OKC Thunder Drummers and Mariachi Orgullo de América.

The Canal Stage, located along the Bricktown Canal across from Charleston’s Restaurant, will feature From A to Z Music, Mighty Green, Eric Himan, DIVA, Beau Jennings & the Tigers and Chase Kirby.

Additional performances will take place inside participating Bricktown venues throughout the afternoon and evening.

“Bandwagon is really about showing the ingredients of what is already happening with live music in Bricktown and creating opportunities for the music scene to grow,” said Kristen Vails, director of place management at Downtown OKC Partnership.
