They’re here. They’re The Queers. But don’t get used to them, because the punk legends are in town for just one show: 7 p.m. Friday at The Conservatory, 8911 N. Western.
Delivering their ever-popular blend of punk and pop since 1982, The Queers are touring in support of their brand-new album, “Back to the Basement,” which streeted Tuesday. Of its making, Joe Queer said, “We recorded it in about 23 hours from start to finish. That included writing a few songs in the vocal booth when we took a coffee break. … Stuff that in your pipe and smoke it, you hipster punks.”
Tickets to the all-ages show are $10 in advance or $12 at the door. For more information, visit www.conservatoryokc.com. “Rod Lott
