News9.com recently reported that while holiday business is booming, so has the handiwork of opportunistic criminals.
“They look for attractive targets and an attractive target is something that’s easy for them to steal,” Msgt. Gary Knight of the Oklahoma City Police Department told News9.com.
And if you’re at Penn Square Mall, watch your stuff. According to police report data compiled by the news outlet, 62 percent of holiday crime happens here. The north and south sides (Quail Springs Mall and South Shields Plaza) each garner 19 percent of crime.
If you’d like to shop more safely, Outlet Shoppes of Oklahoma City reported zero crime in the past year.
