Teen drivers in Oklahoma are bad, and we’re not just saying that because we like to act crotchety and shake our fists in the air as cars race past our offices. (Though some of us might thoroughly enjoy such things.) We have proof.

A study released by WalletHub ranked Oklahoma No. 47 in the nation overall, an average of things like our safety conditions rank (dead last at No. 50), our driving laws (No. 43, which includes laws regulating texting while driving and distracted driving) and economic environment (No. 18).

But wait. There’s more. Oklahoma ranks No. 37 for quality of roads and No. 43 for the overall number of licensed teen drivers. See the full study at wallethub.com.
