Linda C. Wade’s June 23 letter of disgust expressed against Sen. James Inhofe was interesting. I do not disagree with the writer’s comments but need to add.

Most disappointments experienced from our congressional representatives should be focused at their D.C. legislative assistants. They are notoriously inept in most matters that are close to Oklahoma constituents coupled with complete lack of empathy. If a form letter is not available to answer a constituent’s letter, then no response will be sent or the famous “This matter is being taken under advisement.” If you receive a “under advisement” response, it simply means your letter is now in the most convenient trash can waiting to be carried out to the larger Dumpster.

Continue to communicate with your leader, but do not accept form letters and non-responses.
