“The British think they have dental care but they can’t see a dentist,” the Tulsa World quoted him as saying at a recent Tulsa County Republican Men’s Club. “They just go to the hardware store and get a pair of pliers and pull their own teeth.”
Ritze, by the way, is a physician. His father was an oral surgeon, the World reports: “So I’ve looked at teeth a lot.”
In related “darndest” news, Markwayne Mullin
(R-Westville) tells us about the four (!!) branches of government (all
spelling and grammar sic):
“This country isn’t ran by just one
individual it’s ran by four branches, but three branches that are in
control of this,” MSNBC reported Mullin saying last week. “Not all of us
is going to get 100% of what we want, but we should do what’s right.”
