Oklahoma City residents are invited to take part in an upcoming community conversation on homelessness, as the Key to Home Partnership hosts its annual State of Homelessness Address on Thursday, May 7.

The event will run from 3:30 to 5 p.m. at the Yale Theater and is free and open to the public.

Organizers say the annual address will offer a closer look at homelessness in Oklahoma City, including findings from the 2026 Point-in-Time Count conducted in January. The program will also highlight ongoing strategies and partnerships aimed at reducing homelessness and improving long-term support systems.

Speakers include Mayor David Holt, along with updates from Key to Home staff. The event will conclude with a panel discussion featuring local housing and homelessness experts, followed by a Q&A session.

Community members can submit questions in advance online through May 5 at 5 p.m.

“This event is an important opportunity to share progress, align on priorities and engage the community in solutions,” said Jamie Caves, strategy and implementation manager for the Key to Home Partnership. “Addressing homelessness requires ongoing collaboration, transparency and a shared commitment to action.”
